Finn Shepherd, a recent design graduate from the University of New South Wales, is a highly skilled 3D designer. Drawing inspiration from nature, his designs for Belfi, his 3D printing homeware company, as well as his recent Voron-Ai project showcases his mastery in blending design, technology, and aesthetics.


Voron-Ai, an amalgamation of past, present, and future technologies, embodies the harmonious blend of AI and human creativity. 

Inspired by the beauty of mathematical patterns in nature, it features intricate Voronoi designs generated by AI, symbolising our connection to the natural world. Crafted with precision using a combination of advanced machining and traditional techniques, plasma cut steel is then coated in a resilient gloss varnish, preserving its elegance for years to come.

Voron-Ai stands as a testament to the enduring significance of human input amidst the ever-evolving landscape of technology.


Eden Vase

Belfi's inaugural vase design draws inspiration from the captivating allure of natural flowers. 

Crafted from 3D-printed PLA bioplastic derived from sugar cane and corn sugars, these vases embody sustainability and innovation. 
Produced locally through decentralised 3D printing, they serve as a testament to the beauty and versatility of plastic when utilised thoughtfully. 

In contrast to disposable plastic items, Belfi vases are designed to endure, encouraging a shift towards lasting appreciation and utilisation of plastic's enduring qualities. @belfi.home


Harmony Vase

A striking vessel that breaks the mold and exudes confidence with every contour.

Made from 3D-printed PLA bioplastic sourced from sugar cane and corn sugars, these vases epitomise sustainability and forward-thinking design. Crafted locally through decentralised 3D printing, they showcase the elegance and adaptability of plastic when used conscientiously.
