1. Entry into Australia’s Next Top Designer competition confirms Entrant’s agreement to all terms and conditions of entry.
2. Entry to Australia’s Next Top Designer competition is open to citizens and residents of Australia (with valid Australian work visa).
3. Employees and immediate families of the staff of Design Show Australia 2024, Kanebridge Media Pty Ltd, their associated companies and agencies are ineligible to enter.
4. All applicants must:
a. be Australian citizens or have valid an Australian work visa
b. comply with all Design Show requirements to participate in this prize competition.
5. All work submitted for evaluation pursuant to this competition
a. must be created solely by the applicant. If multiple people participate in the creation of the work, all participants will be included.
b. work must have been created in Australia.
c. work must be original (not a copy of any third party).
d. entrant must own all rights to the work. If work is owned by a third-party employer or funder Entrant must be authorised to enter the competition and to receive the prize if successful.
6. Entries for Australia’s Next Top Designer competition close on the date stated in the competition description material. The winners will be notified during the Design Show Australia at the ICC, Sydney.
7. Prize(s) will be delivered to the winner within four (4) weeks of the winner invoicing Kanebridge Media for the prize amount. In case of a winner including multiple individuals, the prize will be awarded to a single individual agreed to by all winners. Winners must invoice Kanebridge Media to claim the prize. The invoice must include all information (TFN/ABN etc required by Kanebridge Media to pay the invoice. The prize is non-transferable.
8. The judges’ decision is final and made at their sole discretion, and no correspondence will be entered into related to the decision.
9. All entrants, including but not limited to the prize winner, agree that their images and personal details related to the competition and the prize may be used by Design Show Australia, Kanebridge Media and its social media and other partners for their business purposes.
The Prize winner expressly agrees to be reasonably available to Kanebridge Media for interviews and other promotional purposes.
10. The entrants will be entered into a database for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes.
11. Prizes are not inclusive of additional components e.g. required travel, required installation, taxes etc. The promoter does not take any responsibility for any costs required by the winner(s) to redeem any prize of this nature when a situation arises where a winner(s) would be required to pay costs to use or redeem the prize they have won.
12. Unless otherwise provided for under applicable laws, governmental regulations, orders and requirements, these Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
